End Childhood Hunger Conference

Friday, April 23, we hosted a statewide conference to End Childhood Hunger in Arizona. This has been in the planning stages for many months and Friday all the pieces came together as government agencies, social service agencies, and the faith-based community came together to coordinate ways to help the hungry children in Arizona. The state estimates that 1 out of every 5 children in Arizona does not have adequate nutrition. This summer many children who depend on school lunch programs will go without food over the school break. Our desire is to help facilitate a program where children will be able to get nutritious food. Please pray for churches to open their doors to children who are hungry physically and spiritually.
